Cal Poly Humboldt’s Virtual Zoom Wednesdays continues September 27th with Luis Neuner from the Environmental Protection Information Center (EPIC). EPIC is a grassroots 501(c)(3) non-profit environmental organization founded in 1977 that advocates for the science-based protection and restoration of Northwest California’s forests, watersheds, and wildlife with an integrated approach combining public education, citizen advocacy, and strategic litigation. Luis is the Decarbonize the North Coast Advocate.
Please join us as Luis discusses the various aspects of decarbonization and how it relates to the North Coast, including climate action planning, reducing energy consumption, and building a responsible and equitable renewable energy transition.
