Indigenous FEWS Research Community of Practice

A group of students, gathered from the DevEng community and CARES mailing list, doing work with and/or as part of Native/Indigenous communities. We would like to create a community of practice on the Berkeley campus to brainstorm / story-telling projects and support one another. We would also like to connect this group to similar efforts on other campuses as part of the Native FEWS Alliance.

• Provide a venue to present and discuss Indigenous research methods in FEWS. 
• Create an open space for the Native FEWS Alliance to participate and share Indigenous research methods.
• Support students’ educational needs in the area of Indigenous research methods through a targeted agenda.
• Offer guidance and critique of student research.
