SUMMARY:Native FEWS Virtual Seminar Series
DESCRIPTION:Why Summer Research & REUs Really Are For You!\nThis two-part virtual seminar series is for any undergrad who is considering applying for summer research or REUs (research experience for undergrads). The seminar series is open to all undergrads with minority, BIPOC, women and non-binary students particularly encouraged to attend. The first seminar on November 15 will focus on the benefits of summer research, the application process, and resources for finding programs. The second seminar on November 29, will give students the opportunity to bring drafts of application materials developed after the first workshop for feedback.\nThe seminar series is co-hosted by the Native FEWS Alliance, the Ecological Forecasting Initiative, and the Geoscience Alliance.\n\n
