Ilíiaitchik: Indigenous Correspondents Program (ICP) (Storytelling and Communication)
The Indigenous Correspondents Program will advance the Alliance goals by providing Indigenous students with: 1) professional and skill-development training led by Indigenous mentors, 2) 1-on-1 mentorship in journalism and storytelling techniques from an Indigenous editor, 3) community-building events to strengthen networks, and 4) opportunities to publish environmental stories via national platforms and the Planet Forward Summit in Washington, DC and AIRES Student Showcase in Tucson, AZ.
